With this writing I have to solve three very
difficult tasks, all of which are up to the difficulties of accepting a
paradigm shift.
I. On the one hand, the evolutionary approach in
human sciences needs to be validated.
In biology this has been partly done (in Tibor
Török: Moral and Religious Evolutionary Fundamentals), in psychology formally
yes, because there are so-called "Evolutionary Psychology", but I
think this is actually just a sound title and does not follow the true
evolutionary view of this trend; and in philosophy they still want to solve
everything within the consciousness and the perceived possibilities,
In contrast, recent research shows that human
behavior and thinking are predominantly based on life-sustaining instincts
(research by Ezequiel Morsella), the role of consciousness functions as a small
"switching circuit" between DNA and mind;
II. On the other hand, I have to accept my book
"The philosophy of evolution", which intends to propose the evolutionary
approach to philosophy, with the public;
III. And to convince public opinion of the truth of
my discovery that Plato has a priori perceived the dominance of the
evolutionary approach and thus created his system of idealism.
Well, I do not envy myself now!
I think Plato was the greatest genius in philosophy.
His incredible popularity is due to the fact that he
has guessed the connections between philosophy, the course of human life, the
purpose of human life and evolution. And although he did not show any evidence,
but in terms of the phenomena on the surface, he almost described the effects
and relationships of man, human morality, conscience, and life-sustaining
instincts, and all this remarkably matched with the experience of people and
philosophers reading Plato and at all : It reflects well what you know, think,
feel about the most important things in life.
Geniusly he saw the system even from the few points
that were known in his historical period, that is, from the conclusions and
generalities that could be deduced from human behavior, thinking, action,
historical experiences and the functioning of the human world in his age . He
saw the pattern in things more genial than anyone, which is the basis of
intuitive thinking. [1]
Plato's system is so much in line with people's
experiences and the instinctive impulses they have made so that the world can
easily accept Plato's system of ideals and idealism. And if we connect this
system with the effects of instinctive instincts that guide our lives, that is,
all that we feel with the soul, conscience, good, bad, and in general about
life and evolution, then there are astonishing parallels.
Consider very briefly the Platonic idealism theory:
"The Platonic" two-world system "is
the core of Plato's work and thinking.
The world of existence gives eternal and unchanged
patterns which, according to Plato's theory, exist only in our thinking (in
fact, I think in our instincts, in our DNA!).
Here are the ideal patterns that do not change over
time and carry perfection inself.
Since knowledge can only be related to unchanged
things, ideas can clearly be found in the world of existence, whereas in
reality the ideas that are realized in the minds of ideas necessarily change,
but we are directly perceived.
In the world of creation, ideas give the norms, the
ordering principles for real imitation, which were realized on the basis of
ideas.
The latter can be perceived, and their
implementation can not perfectly imitate all the qualities of ideals.
They can be sensed because they can be in contact
with them in human life and they are by no means unchanged because an imitation
always has the effect, perseverance, commitment, and worldview of the person
who makes the copy "
And the theory (The philosophy of evolution), which
I would like to compare this wonderful Plato theory, is very briefly the
following:
"In any form of life, the main pursuit of
life-sustaining instincts is that life itself continues."
This is provided by our subsistence instincts, the
genes, the DNA file.
They have inherited the mass of information to
ensure the survival of life for the next generation from time immemorial and
obviously our conscience comes from DNA.
In order to obey our instinctive constraints and to
carry out the work that our instinctive constraints force us, evolution has
created the system of desires and the conscience for man.
If we undertake life-sustaining tasks, even if these
are difficult, then our instincts reward us with the most attractive feelings
of satisfaction, pleasure, mood, orgasm at the physical level; And on a
spiritual level, joy, happiness, funky happiness, ecstasy.
And if we do not take the right but harder path and
choose the lighter path, our instincts give us dissuasive, sinful feelings like
bad conscience, anxiety, fear, insanity, or even a strong suffering, dread,
Which causes our deaths.
If we choose the hard way, we call it morality, and
if we let the temptation of a lighter road get off to get rewarding feelings in
a scam, getting rid of the difficulties, immorality.
This is the essence of morality, the rejection of
the temptation of the lighter road even if it is more difficult.
The lighter way is chosen by the weaker characters,
those who want only the evolutionary rewarding feelings, but they do not assume
the tasks and difficulties that lead to them and cheat, lie and become
hypocritical and self-deceiving.
From this it is clear that morality is the supreme
helper of life-sustaining instincts, it works equally at all people and it brings
an equal obligation on everyone .
As Plato said, "morality is of divine
origin", that is, an obligation that applies to every person, and not an
obligation packet tailored to individuals or communities as a tailor of
clothing ...
"Individual or community morality" is,
from an evolutionary point of view, completely meaningless and imprecise.
Individual morality and community morality does not
exist, morality is only one form: we all have to obey the commands of
life-sustaining instincts.
The degree of morality is obviously the extent to
which we obey the word of our conscience.
Conscience comes from our life-sustaining instincts
and tells us in human language what is right and what we need to do in a
particular situation.
And since divine commands are exactly the same as
those of our conscience, apparently the same function and mode of operation, it
is clear that Plato was thinking the same way of morality and conscience as I
have described in my theory.
In terms of morality, Platon's concept of morality appears
also as "a divine good," which also perfectly coincides with my own
views, because the god corresponds to the conscience and both are the source of
morality.
Conscience is therefore the advocate of our
evolutionary instincts and morality.
Our morals from the ideals realize as much as our
spiritual strength, our integrity allows, as much as our humanity can afford
us.
Conscience and the ideas it conveys give the
standard of how we can best help evolution and survival.
This perfectly coincides with Plato's words, even
though he has not yet known the results of genetics and other contemporary
sciences.
The "moral good" therefore develops in the
same way, with the restriction that the "moral good" for the atheists
is the word of conscience, for believers (apparently!) The "word of
God" (and of course the word of conscience !), And the human moral
weakness and tenderness in both cases try to find the outsiders from the
obligation of performing the right and the hardest way, and by self-deception
and hypocrisy, you can even find these outsiders - or at least it believe To
find them ...
In Plato, among the ideas, there is the idea of
"good" at the beginning of ranking of ideas, followed by moral
values (freedom, justice, patriotism, etc.), followed by mathematical
concepts and ending with things existing in nature (cow, Cap, beech, etc.).
It is not difficult to discover the parallel with
the system I think is right:
--- the good, the idea of goodness too today
corresponds to the concept of moral;
--- the ideas of moral values today are the same
concepts and values that form morality;
--- the ideas of mathematical concepts mean the
objects of knowledge and science, which of course today creating a much longer
list;
--- the notions of things similar to the ideas of
things in nature, like in the Plato's value system, are too today at the end of
the line.
At Plato also, at the beginning of the value system,
the most useful and most important ideas for evolution were located, and with
this decrease in utility, the ranking of things in the ranking of values
decreased.
The Platonic "Being of the World", in
which the perfect ideas can be found, can be easily identified with the ancient
images and the ideal patterns that are stored in our genetic material.
These ideal patterns are in the huge mass of
information that has been added to the experiences of many generations over the
millions of years.
Of these, only the purified essential common
features were preserved through the infinite period of the ages. These are
ideas.
Today's evolutionary theory denies that the
experiences of individual generations can directly incorporate into our
inheritance material, but that is not a problem, although I note that if this
"direct incorporation" is not true then a number of very rapid
changes could not be explained With the unusually slow change of hereditary
material, which would be Darwinian ideas limited to mutation and selection.
Of course, there are many ways to incorporate an experience
into the DNA!
For example, if I'm wrong and we can only start from
the mutation selection process, it is possible to generate information that can
already be incorporated into the DNA based on the difference between the genes
of the previous and the new generation.
My hypothesis is underlined by the following line of
thought, which is related to the fact that the experiences gained on the course
are incorporated into the genes:
The emergence of so-called hidden genes is not due
to chance or flawed copying (apart from the causes of radiation or other
degradation that can also cause mutations, but these are sometimes inevitable
and are really random).
Changes in the environment or in the individual, I
mean, direct appear in the DNA, and hidden genes with seemingly random
characteristics will allow the mutant to adapt to changes better.
Based on our current scientific knowledge of
genetics, evolutionism, etc., it is clear that the Platonic "world of
existence" forms the ideas that emerged from the experiences of our
instincts.
These inherited genetic information are the
evolutionary experiences of the entire history of life so far.
Ideas formed by keeping the essentials in our
instincts give the essential basis for
the surely most important part of our genetic material, conscience, which holds
a two-way relationship between our consciousness and our genetic material and
provides us in terms of subsistence useful information.
This knowledge has developed over billions of years,
or at least hundreds of millions, and is thus considered to be constant, which
is a condition of Plato's "knowledge".
It is a big question that today's accelerated
thinking, which brings a huge amount of knowledge to the surface, to what
extent speeds up the changes in the ideas of individual things in the sphere of
Plato's "existence world".
The order of flow of information is, in my view, the
following: from the direction of reality it is constantly flowing to the
genetic material, there is a selection of useful and useless knowledge and,
after the cleansing of useful knowledge, the ideas and instinctive urges are
changed very slowly and finally our conscience conveys the ideas to our mind,
and our instincts force the urges to our reflexes, that are needed from an
evolutionary point of view.
But what do I base my mind on (our subconscious
mind) to have access to our DNA? And how's that going on?
My assumption is that our brain and our DNA are in
constant contact so that our consciousness is "aware" the DNA content
in all necessary cases because in the first approach, we must assume that the
entire hereditary material is accumulated in the DNA. And one part of this
content is transferred to our consciousness, which part we currently need.
Recent research clearly shows that there is a close
co-operation between our minds and our inheritance material.
I would say that DNA is part of our mind, they are
in the closest work relationship that is obviously needed, since our brain can
only stay in sync with what is happening to us and that our brain can only form
in the pressure of our conscience To make an opinion on whether we are doing
right at that moment.
However, we need this constant attention and
opinion-creation, because we must constantly obey the compulsions of our life
support instincts.
The research results of recent years have brought on
the surface many basic knowledge about the ability of linguistic and
co-conceptual co-operation between the DNS and our meaning. [2]
Noam Chomsky, along with other researchers, found
that the structure cca. Of 90% of the DNA forms the basis for linguistic
communication.
The structure of this DNA part is such that it
promotes people's language learning abilities, and most likely this DNA
structure and DNA part is the basis of thought-linguistic communication between
mind and DNA.
In addition, instincts dominate human behavior and
thinking in a much greater proportion than consciousness, as the researches of
Ezequiel Morsella (University of San Francisco) and his colleagues and others
identified in evolutionary, genetic, evolutionary biology, etc. [3].
Accordingly, human nature and the resulting human
behavior is predominantly controlled by our life support instincts, the role of
consciousness in the effect of human behavior and of human personality is rather
small, surprisingly consciousness predominantly does not play a role in our
decisions, but as a switch, as a mediating medium in the flow of information
between the hereditary material and the different areas of our brain.
This is also consistent with my assumption that
there is a constant close (organic or with electromagnetic radiation of the
particles) between our DNA and our minds.
It would also be worthwhile examining whether, in
the case of the intuitive pattern-building process, partly the Platonic ideas,
that is, in my interpretation, the evolutionary DNA content gives the bases of
intuition (partly the raw material of the perceived reality in which the
samples are to be discovered)!
But about this issue maybe I'll be writing an
another time.
